I see a completely different future for the business now. Josh helped me shape a clear, compelling offer, take it to market, and set me up with leads. Without his support, I wouldn’t have won the client I did.

A look inside

Inside The Engagement Playbook

The accounting trick underneath the whole thing: sending is rate limited and gets your account restricted, accepting is not. The entire game is moving people to the cheap side before you say a word (Part 1).

Why the connect line goes before the comment line in your call to action, and how a one step gate quietly loses you every person you cannot message on the day (Part 2).

The three beat opening DM, word for word, and the one question with three named options that hands you a diagnosis in four words. Nothing goes between the link and the question, and Part 4 explains why breaking that rule costs you the reply every time.

The day 2, day 5, day 14 clock. The day 14 gap is the one everybody gets wrong, and it is where most of the calls actually land (Part 6).

The four laws of the pain gate, including the one that stops you arguing with somebody who already told you no. A description is not a pain, and pitching too early is the most common way to lose a buyer who was two messages away (Part 5).

The list that stops you cold messaging a live deal. It costs nothing to build and it is the one guardrail nobody builds until it has already cost them a deal (Part 3).

What’s inside

Tools you keep. Not tips you forget.

The Volume Layer, Off One Seat

You are not going to run fifty sending accounts, and you should stop feeling behind for it. Parts 1 to 3 are the cheap version of volume: the comment gate, the exact closing block, how to pick a keyword that survives being typed on a phone, and the two public replies that keep a good post running for three days instead of six hours.

The First Message

One version per magnet, three beats, and a second version for anybody who has spoken to you before. The question is a diagnostic disguised as a courtesy, and whichever of the three options they pick tells you which problem they have and what you would actually sell them.

The Reply Layer And The Pain Gate

The fixed verdict set that makes reply handling reliable, the three branch replies word for word, and the four laws that decide when you are allowed to pitch a call. Plus the rule that saves the most deals: once they say yes, stop selling and book.

The Follow Up Clock

Day 0, day 2, day 5, then a fresh angle at day 14. The stop rule that kills every remaining touch the second somebody replies, so you never send a canned chase to someone who answered you yesterday. This is the part everybody skips and it is where the calls are.

The Nightly Sort

One job at the end of the day that ranks tomorrow: overdue before due, hot before new, and anybody who has gone quiet for seven days named at the top. Plus the four numbers worth watching and the counting mistake that will flatter you into the wrong decision.

The Honest Part

Three things this will not do. Nothing sends itself, every message is a draft until a person presses the button. It does not fix a quiet month, because all of it runs downstream of something you published. And it is more work than it looks.

Everything you get

One email. The whole kit.

Questions, answered

Is this actually free, or is it the front end of a pitch?

It's free and it's yours. MIT licence: clone it, keep it, change it, hand it to whoever runs your admin. I built it for the businesses I partner with, and giving it away is how I show my work. Some readers book a call later. Most just get a working stack. Both are fine with me.

I've been burned by programmes that promised clients. How is this different?

There's no programme, no cohort and no promise of a number. Anyone promising you a number of clients is selling something else. This is working code you can read line by line before you run it: 32 hooks, real API clients, and a doctor script that shows you exactly what's connected. Nothing here asks you to take my word for anything.

We're not developers. Will we actually get it running?

If you can copy and paste, yes. There's no build step and no third-party dependencies: clone it, add keys for the tools you already use, and run the doctor script to see what's ready. Start with the 3 or 4 hooks in your starter pack and ignore the rest. It runs on Windows, Mac and Linux.
